What a fun night last week at the West Henderson JROTC Banquet, held at Tall Oaks Farm in Mills River. This annual event is a highlight of these Junior Cadets’ year.
This service and leadership-oriented organization helps young people in the area learn necessary leadership skills that will help them the rest of their lives. While it is rooted in several Military Service themes, and West Henderson follows the Army methodologies, participation in future military service is not a requirement, though many students choose to follow this path.
