My visit last weekend to Burlington was so much fun. Being able to see two incredible local schools play for the Baseball State Champions was so special, and watching both of them up close come away with the big wins was a thrill of a lifetime!
T.C. Roberson faced off against a determined Wake Forest team fresh off their game 2 win. Though the morning game didn’t go as the Rams had hoped, there was little doubt that the Rams had come to play and to win. And boy, did they play! Micah Simpson opened up pitching again, and he was even more dominating than he had been in game 1. With some amazing play on defense and some incredible baserunning, the Rams won the game in dominating fashion, 7-3.
