In front of a packed house at West Henderson, the Hendersonville Boys team came in and showed why they are best teams in the area, defeating the powerful Falcon team 70-61. West took an early lead in the game, but the Bearcats regrouped and took control for most of the game thanks to a ferocious defense that kept pressuring the home team all night long. The Falcons rallied back to in the final minutes, but simple ran out of time. Both of these squads should go far in the playoffs — I can’t wait!
