One of my favorite fall traditions is the annual county rivalry football game between West Henderson High School and North Henderson High School. And while the action on the field never disappoints, my favorite part is the when these two great schools combine their bands together to play the National Anthem. This tradition dates back several years, and it gives a chance for the the two schools to bring their amazing bands together to honor America and their unity. I have several photos of the performance below, but be sure to come out next September to experience this yourselves!
In addition to that moving tribute, tonight was the first time I was able to see the Flying Falcon Marching Band perform their halftime show in full uniform. The Barbie show has not disappointed at all this year, and the latest addition of Ken to the show brought down the house! Congratulations, everyone, on a great show!
