While I love all kinds of sports, Volleyball is my favorite high school sport. And this time of the year has me so excited – it’s Playoff Time. The tension is high, but so is confidence! This area has several amazing teams that should be able to compete for a state championship, and I hope to be able to follow along with them throughout this season!
Today I had a fantastic senior portrait session, but I was able to get over to TC Roberson to watch them defeat Hickory Ridge in 4A work, 3-1. And along the way, Emma Youngblood was able to pass the 2,000 assist mark – setting a high bar and record that should stand of ages. This record was also so amazing since TC rarely needs more than 3 sets in a match, cutting down on Emma’s opportunities for assists.
So, congratulations to Emma and to the Roberson Rams for a fantastic game! Good luck as the playoffs progress!
