I cannot believe that it has been 2 years since Hendersonville played in the State Championship basketball game. I loved being able to go see them play and shoot from courtside. These young men were so full of talent all season. They were the best conditioned team I’ve ever seen play. They played the press almost every minute of every game. In masks. And they never seemed to tire.
Even though they fell just a bit short in the championship game, they played hard – scoring 98 points in a game against an equally talented Farmville Central.
I have never been more proud of a team than I was of this group of young men. Congratulations, men, and I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane!
