It’s been a long off-season. While Summer is awesome, seeing the Boys of Fall have a scrimmage Wednesday night was great! I loved being able to wind the sidelines while Cherokee, Brevard, and West Henderson’s Varsity and JV teams played in 10-down scrimmages. This was a great way to see the boys get used to real-time conditions and fine tune their games. All three schools played well, thrilling the large crowd at Johnson Field.
The football season formally starts next Thursday. The JV teams hit the gridiron, followed by the Varsity teams on Friday night. Good luck to all three of these teams!
