The Battle between East Henderson and West Henderson on Friday night was indeed an epic showdown! The two teams were competing in their conference showdown at West. The Eagles of East Henderson started hot, keeping the home crowd quiet until the 2nd Quarter as they celebrated the Silent Night Christmas’ 12th point of the game. Once that milestone was broken, the crowd came alive and energized that team who then closed gap on the strong visiting Eagles. Soon after halftime the Falcons went ahead and held onto the lead throughout the night, pushing back East’s constant work to take back the lead.
I could watch this game over and over. It truly was a classic, and both teams played so well!
