I am Pat Shrader, and I operate BlueRidgeExpressions.com as a way to let people know about my Senior, Family and Sports Photography Business. I am based in the Mills River area of Henderson County, North Carolina.
Your privacy is extremely important to me. I will work hard to provide a stable platform to host area photos, and only collect information necessary to deliver to you relevant information. I do not sell this information to 3rd party marketing agencies: I want to create a personal relationship with you.
I do collect the information from you, with the intention of staying in touch with you and to provide you with better photography services. As a part of this, I will collect your name & school information which you provide as a part of the website registration. Your computer IP information is also stored which allows me to track popular content.
I take photos of people on commission (portraits) and uncommissioned (sporting & local events) basis. All uncommissioned events are taken during public activities. I do understand that there are reasons you may not want your photo to appear on the web, and if you would like any removed, please contact me with the specific image in question and I will remove it as soon as possible.
I also collect your email address to send you periodic updates of the website and my photographic and professional services. You may opt-out of this email by changing your preferences in the link associated with each
When you order products from me, I will also collect information necessary to fulfil your order.
I do not sell or distribute the information you entrust to me to others except to provide you with better photographic services from me (like sending your address to the photo lab to print your photos).

Who we are
Our website address is: http://www.BlueRidgeExpressions.com.
Comments are appreciated and helpful to build an audience with the website content. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
The primary purpose of this site is to distribute media that I, or my designated assignees, take of events and people of the area. This media, including images, movies, and other electronic data, is maintained, and backed up on this site. As mentioned before, images are collected either by commissioned activity or uncomissioned activities in a public area. If you would like any media that contains your likeness to be removed, please let me know and I will gladly remove it.
Some profile information and email opportunities may allow you to upload images of your own. The images uploaded will be considered acceptable to share with other website users. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
Our partners (including Amazon Web Services) for hosting provide secure services to keep the data private to the Blue Ridge Expressions account.
Mailing list services are provided by an external partner, Mail Chimp, who will allow you to remove your content on demand from a link in a distributed email.
I will share contact information necessary to communicate with various printing labs so that you can receive your prints that you order.
I do not store credit card information on this site. I use secure third-party processors to process your payments, and they use industry standard and secure encryption communications methods to safely transmit your data from your browser directly to their servers. The credit card transactions are not stored on this site (but the results are).
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
