West Henderson Crowns Eli Clonch Mr. WHHS. The Real Winner Is Our Community!

Continuing a new tradition, the West Henderson DECA club held their 3rd Annual Mr. WHHS talent competition last week. Each year this fun and very entertaining talent show raises money for a great cause, and this year it did so for Helene recovery efforts in Western North Carolina. 41 young men, and their escorts, from West Henderson combined with McDowell High School and Watauga High Schools to raise money for these local communities.

As of the time this blog was published, the total raised by West Henderson was $28,500! Congratulations!!!

If you would like to make an online donation directly to the cause, the official link for this is https://secure.qgiv.com/for/3communitiesonepurpose/. This is open until Saturday, December 14.

Additionally, I will donate the proceeds of any sale of images and prints of the event on this website to this great cause. If you want a photo of any performance, be sure to place your order by Saturday as well.

Senior Portraits: HCPS Families have no sitting fee!

I am constantly is awe of how much our school teachers, administrators, and staff do for the community. This event is just one of them: The work by Ms. Garrett and so many other teachers and staff to make it happen is done above-and-beyond their work in the classroom. As a small token of my appreciation for them and their efforts here to make our community better, I offer free sitting fees for any HCPS Employee’s Senior. Reach out for more details!

And I welcome all Seniors to chat with me about your dream Senior Portrait Experience!

Don’t forget: Order Images (Digital or Print) by Saturday and the proceeds will be donated to the Mr. WHHS event.
