Saturday’s matchup between West Henderson and West Rowan, both Falcons, was a show of force for the home team. West Henderson won the match 3-0, in a show of force that the score couldn’t reflect. The ladies were hitting the ball harder and faster than in previous games – and with incredible accuracy. Usually I can capture non-blur shots, but the arm speed and ball speed was blurier than on any game I’ve been at previously. These women are determined.
Next up: Carson, 6pm October 29. Carson will be a tough match against a very talented 27-5 team from the greater Charlotte/Salisbury area – where they always play A+ volleyball. I can’t wait for this matchup!
