Thursday was a huge night for West Henderson’s Volleyball team. After winning the first set against North Iredell, the Falcons fell to the Raiders in the next two sets, falling down 2-1. However, in what makes this team one of the best to ever play for the storied West Henderson team, the Lady Falcons dug deep and remembers who they were: Winners! The Falcons won set 4 and then cruised through the final set in dominating fashion.
To earn their way to play in Raleigh at the State Championship. These young women are talented, but mostly they are smart. They play tough and keep their composure and come through. They reflect the best of the community. I am so proud of them!
I am disappointed that I can’t get to the game today in Raleigh, but please enjoy these game pics and celebration of this huge accomplishment. Getting to state is so incredible. Good luck, ladies! You will never let us down!
