Catching up on some previous games. So sorry – it’s been a (good!) busy fall!!
Wow. I knew that Polk County Volleyball has been strong. I also have known that this strong team – led by some amazing seniors – was one of the best in the area. I have underlined several games this season that I want to watch them play, and the game against West Henderson was one of those amazing games. The strong West Henderson team played well, but the Wolverines made a statement that they are one of the area’s best with a 3-0 victory over the Falcons.
From the opening whistle through the final point, the Wolverines were on fire and played great. The Falcons had some great play as well, but in the end the ladies of Polk walked away with the big win.
Congratulations to Polk. Their game tomorrow against Brevard will be a classic as well.
And West Henderson faces North Henderson tomorrow as well, in what will also be an incredible game.
