Before the September 8 football game, West Henderson took a few minutes to honor it’s 3A NCHSSA State Champions from the past few months.
Those Honored included:
- Taymen Howell, who was honored for his 110-meter hurdles championship
- Emma Hall, 2023 Three-time State Champion in: 110-meter, 300-meter hurdles, and 55-meter hurdles in Winter Track (Second year sweeping all three events!)
- The West Henderson Baseball Team, who captured its first title since 1992. The team includes: Lukas Kachillo, Alex Alexander, Cayden Saltz, Jackson Lyda, Hudson Pressley, Bradley Clark, Jude Lyda, Colin Ingle, Isaac Johnson, Truitt Manuel, Ryan Kasney, Nicky Stanko, Logan Oliver, Jackson Lynn, Eli Shinn, Jake Lindsey, Cameron Grady, Grant Putnam, Amani Perin and Robert Waters.
Huge congratulations to these outstanding student athletes!
