West Henderson Football gave notice that their Conference Championship and undefeated season was well deserved last Friday night with a 44-28 drubbing of North Davidson in the first round of the NCHSSA 3A football playoffs. The Falcons quickly adjusted to everything the Black Knights threw at them.
The team knew that North Davidson was so much better than their record, and the visiting team did have some tremendous athletes on the line that broke through to pressure Senior Quarterback Lukas Kachilo a few times. But Lucas kept his composure, and his line rallied for him to give him the time he needed to make great plays and secure the comeback win for the Falcons. Everyone played hard in this game, and confidence was high for the entire game in each other and their mission.
This team is very special.
