Marching band is an important part of the high school experience. The band starts practicing their program in August and practice 3-4 times a week throughout the fall sports season. They cheer on their classmates at football games and then perform in standing-room-only competitions throughout the fall demonstrating their technical and musical abilities.
Senior Night for the band is very emotional. The band performs their show to the delight of parents and supporters then the seniors are recognized over the loudspeakers and come forward with their families for a tearful and pride-filled moment of celebration.
I’m proud to be a band parent, and I salute Mr. Klaes and the entire band on an incredible season. Good luck to the seniors, and I can’t wait to see what next season brings to the field!
Do you enjoy these photos? I offer a very popular Memory Book of the season that you capture your musician performing on the field. These books are great keepsakes of this season, and something you will treasure for years to come!
