WEST HENDERSON IS HEADING TO THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!!!
I am so excited and proud and thrilled over how these young women have played this season. They have always been good, but they have improved in their play and dominance in the past month. And that improvement has gotten them to the game they have wanted all season: playing for a State Championship!
They played brilliantly against a very good West Rowan team, but the girls from West Hendersonville always seemed to have an answer for the home team.
One thing that I absolutely love about this team is that they simply won’t quit. They are not afraid to play from behind. They aren’t intimidated by the opponents. Rowdy opposing fans don’t phase them. They are a driven team.
Working all season to get better, this volleyball team has gotten better as the season progressed. From Senior night to last night the Falcons have been playing at a different level. Dominating. Unshakable. Incredible.
Congratulations, ladies! The entire West Henderson Community is so proud of you!
