West Henderson played their heart out in the second half against Tuscola. Down 21-0, the Falcons came back from the locker room determined to clean things up and win this football game. And as the third quarter ended, the Falcons had worn down the very talented Tuscola team and caused two huge turnovers that brought momentum to the home team on a wet and soggy night.
Then with about 4 minutes left in the game, West tied things up at 21. Unfortunately for the home team, in overtime Tuscola put up an incredible defensive stand to stop West’s miracle season, and gave them their only blemish on their record this season.
These young men played hard. They played with heart. They played in the solid rain all night. And even though the results were disappointing, the West Henderson community is extremely proud of these men and coaching staff.
Proud of each of you! Thanks for leaving it all on the field!
Pat
PS: Let me know if you want a Memory Book! With only 2 games left, I will want to get as many photos of your favorite athlete as possible. These 40-page books are a great way to remember your season for years to come.
