Opening day is always exciting. The teams have practiced all off-season to prepare for this day, and while they are confident, they are still untested. Well, the Boys West Henderson Basketball Teams looked good in their debut tonight against Madison High School.
The JV team started off hot but ended up losing in double-overtime in a tough game that had the Falcons emptying their bench due to foul trouble.
The Varsity team started hot and kept getting hotter. They won the nightcap by a score of 76-40, capped by a great Carter Corbin dunk in the closing minutes for his first points as a Varsity player.
I’ve posted photos of the game below. Be sure to register and log-in to see all the photos.
Memory Books
And don’t forget about Memory Books. These are custom-made books featuring your athlete and his or her team. They are a huge hit for everyone who has gotten them. Let me know if you are interested so that I can make sure I get some great photos. It’s like having your own personal photographer!
