There is something about baseball that captivates me. It is an old sport and one that gets its spotlight each Spring as high school ball begins. The chilly nights of early spring are apparent, but the sound of the “ping” off the bat brings a smile to my face as I watch these young boys of summer play hard. I’ve photographed these young men since they played in the area’s Middle School league, and I’ve enjoyed watching them get bigger and stronger and better.
Friday night the West Henderson High School Baseball team hosted county-rival East Henderson. Both teams played well, but the Eagles of East was able to get the big win over the Falcons.
I’ve posted some shots of the games below (registration required).
