Fall is finally here! Football has returned to West Henderson, and the Falcons put on a good show for the crowd against the Madison High School Patriots. The teams seemed to match each other’s score, but in the end, the Falcons had put 2 more points on the board than their opponent, winning 30-28. The game was the first football game played on the new field, and many local dignitaries were on hand to see the game.
I want to applaud the West Henderson administration for their classy tribute to the memory of Tommy Bryson. It was a touching moment that the community needed.
And wasn’t that 4th quarter band drum major awesome?
